Privacy Policy
What We Collect
We gather three broad categories of information.
The first is what you hand us directly: your name and email when you create an account, a password, billing and shipping details when you place an order, and anything you send us through a contact form, support request, review, or survey. If you sign up for our newsletter, we keep a record of that too.
The second is what your browser and device tell us without any typing on your part: your IP address, browser type and language settings, which pages you visit, what you click on, where you came from, and roughly how long you stay. Your IP address also gives us a rough sense of location, generally accurate to a city or region and nothing more precise.
The third comes from cookies and similar tracking tools, covered in more detail below.
One thing we specifically avoid collecting is health records, government ID numbers, or your full card number. At checkout, your payment details go directly to the payment platform you choose and never pass through our servers.
How We Use It
Running an online store means using customer data for fairly ordinary things: keeping your account working, getting orders shipped, answering support questions, catching fraud, keeping the site running, and following bookkeeping and tax rules. If you've opted into marketing, we also use your email for that, and you can opt back out at any time.
For visitors in the EU or UK, our legal grounds for processing data are performance of a contract, our legitimate business interests, your consent where we ask for it (marketing, optional cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
Cookies
The site relies on a handful of cookie categories. Essential cookies keep your cart and login working and can't be switched off without breaking core functions. Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used. Preference cookies remember settings you've chosen. Marketing cookies, used only with your consent, support things like email tracking.
You can block or clear cookies through your browser at any time. Where the law requires it, we'll ask before setting anything beyond essential cookies, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out from the sale or sharing of your data.
Who We Share Information With
We don't sell your personal information. What we do is pass along the minimum necessary to a short list of outside parties who help us operate:
- Cash App and Venmo, our current payment platforms, handle your payment details directly under their own privacy policies. We never see your card number, bank account, or login credentials, only confirmation that a payment went through along with the details needed to match it to your order.
- Email providers receive your address so we can send order updates and, if you've agreed to it, marketing messages.
- Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners receive your name and address so your order can actually reach you.
- Hosting and analytics vendors see site usage data that keeps the site running smoothly and securely.
Outside that list, we'll only share information if the law requires it, if we're responding to a legitimate legal request, to protect someone's safety or our own rights, or if the company is sold or merged into another.
Keeping Data Safe
We rely on standard protections: encrypted connections, secure hosting, and limiting who inside our company can access customer data. Nothing online is completely secure, so if something does go wrong, we'll notify the people affected and any regulators the law requires.
How Long We Keep Information
Account and order history stays on file while your account is active, and afterward for as long as tax and accounting rules require, typically five to seven years for orders and invoices. Support conversations are kept long enough to resolve your issue and maintain a service record. Marketing data stays until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or go inactive long enough that we clear it out on our own. Once we no longer have a reason to hold something, we delete or anonymize it.
Your Rights
1. General Privacy Rights (availability depends on your location):
Wherever you live, you generally have some combination of these rights: to see what information we hold about you, to have inaccuracies corrected, to ask that your data be deleted (within the limits of our legal recordkeeping duties), to receive a portable copy, to withdraw any consent you've given, and to push back on how we use your data for our own business purposes.
If you live in a state such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or Virginia, state law likely gives you the right to know, access, correct, delete, and receive a copy of your information, along with the ability to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of data. We don't sell information or share it for cross-context advertising, and we honor Global Privacy Control as an opt-out signal. Exercising any of these rights won't result in different treatment from us.
To act on any of this, email support@physixbio.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request, and an authorized agent may submit one on your behalf where the law permits it.
If you're in the EU or UK, you can also raise a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Moving Data Across Borders
We're a U.S. company, so your information may be processed here or elsewhere. When data moves from the EU, UK, or EEA to a country without an adequacy decision on file, we put safeguards in place, typically Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism.
Age Requirement
Our products carry a 18-and-over restriction, and so does this site. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger than that. If you believe a minor has given us their information, let us know and we'll remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time, whether to reflect a change in our practices or in the law. The version posted here is the one currently in effect.
